Our Purpose
The youth ministry of Harbor Light exists to develop totally committed followers of Jesus Christ to reach the world. We do this through weekly services that include worship, biblical teaching and community. If you or someone you know is in 5th-12th grade, come out and join us for service! We would love to get to know you!
High School Youth Group
Every Wednesday night we have a youth service for 8 through 12 grade students in the Harbor Light Youth Chapel. Our service starts at 7:00pm and runs to 8:30pm. We have a time of worship and exploring God's word, as well as different interactive games and activities. Students are welcome to come and hang out in the Underground before and after services.
Club 567
Every Wednesday night we have a youth service for 5th through 7th grade students in the Club567 building. Our service starts at 7:00pm and runs to 8:30pm. This is a fun and interactive environment for students to learn about God and His amazing plan for their lives. Students are welcome to come and hang out in the Underground before and after services.
Underground
Every Sunday morning, except the first Sunday of each month, we have a youth service just for our middle school students, grades 5 through 8. We meet during the Sunday morning worship times at 9 and 10:45am in the Harbor Light Youth Chapel. Our service is filled with interactive games, worship, God's word, and small group discussion to help make God's word come alive. A light breakfast is available before the service.
HLYM Parents
We know being a parent is not always easy. We also know that the most influential person in a teenagers life is not a youth pastor or teacher, but their parents. HLYM is here to help you be the best parent you can be. Our goal is to provide you with information, resources and training events that can equip you and your family for success. Check the website and the youth information board in the foyer of the church for these resources.
Events
In addition to our weekly services we have regular events and activities ranging from bonfires to weekend retreats. Check out the calendar to see how you can join the fun.
We believe the church should be a safe place for students and take that responsibility very seriously. All of our youth ministry staff and volunteers have been screened and background checked in order to work with your child.
